Artworkers Alliance
Artworkers exists to support people working in visual arts, craft and design in Queensland and Australia. Norfolk Lakes Art Group
We are a local group of professional and emerging professional artists dedicated to the discovery and pursuit of our creative potential.

Our Aim is “To stimulate art awareness within our surroundings through intermittent interactive art displays and individual art works”.

Our Goals for 2008 are to network with other art groups; exhibit our work (predominantly paintings in acrylic, oil and pastel and sculpture); implement a local interactive art project (subject to funding application approval); and to continue building our personal capability as professional artists.

Queensland Community Arts Network (QCAN) is a statewide community based service that supports and promotes community cultural development practice. We create links between groups, support the skills development of our members and ensure they have access to ideas, resources and information.

Redcliffe Art Society
The Redcliffe Art Society is a friendly and enthusiastic group of artists. We have a well-equipped, air-conditioned studio. We welcome beginners and competent artists. Classes in drawing, pastels, water-colours and oils are held on a weekly basis and one-day Saturday workshops are held during the year.

Our small gallery, where members can display their work, is open to the public. A larger exhibition is held each year at the Redcliffe City Art Gallery. New people are welcome to come along to the studio to experience a few classes before committing to membership.

Weekly workshops for beginners or experienced artists. Tutored classes: printing, pastels, drawing, acrylics, oils, others. Phone Heather Delaney on 07 3203 6582 for more info. Open invitiation to visit our studio.

Sculptors Queensland Inc
Originally founded in the 1960's Society of Sculptors Queensland (SOSQ) has consistently provided a point of contact for all matters sculptural and aims to promote both sculpture and sculptors in Queensland. We do this through our newsletter, monthly meetings with informative speakers, workshops and exhibition programs. The society was founded by Queensland sculptor and founding President Leonard Shillam of then known as the Society of Sculptors Qld (SOSQ).
